FCT Police Debunks Viral Claim of Kidney Sales in Nyanya, Urges Public to Ignore False Reports

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has dismissed a viral social media publication alleging that residents of Nyanya and its environs have been selling their kidneys for money, describing the report as false and unverified.

In a statement issued by the Command, the police clarified that it has neither received nor confirmed any report of human kidney sales involving young people in the Nyanya area or the existence of an agent in Mararaba allegedly involved in purchasing human kidneys.

The Command stated that no official statement or communication has been released confirming such claims, urging members of the public to disregard the circulating information.

According to the police, spreading unverified reports of this nature could create unnecessary fear, panic, and anxiety among residents of the Federal Capital Territory.

The FCT Police Command, however, encouraged members of the public with credible information regarding alleged human organ trafficking or any other security-related concerns to report promptly to the nearest police station.

Residents can also contact the FCT Police Command through the following numbers: 07038979348 and 08028940883.

The Command reaffirmed its commitment to protecting lives and property while urging citizens to rely on verified sources of information before sharing sensitive security-related claims.
