Ibrahim Ahmed Academy Marks 2026 Graduation, Celebrates Growth, Academic Excellence

Ibrahim Ahmed Academy, Gombe, on Saturday held its 2026 Speech and Prize-Giving Day and Graduation Ceremony, celebrating academic excellence, leadership, and outstanding achievements while reflecting on the institution's remarkable growth since its establishment.

The colourful ceremony, held at the school's premises in Riyal Quarters, T/Wadan Pantami, Gombe State, attracted parents, guardians, education stakeholders, traditional leaders, invited guests, teachers, alumni, and well-wishers who gathered to celebrate another milestone in the school's history.

The event featured speeches, cultural displays, presentations by pupils and students, as well as the presentation of awards and prizes to outstanding learners who distinguished themselves in academics, leadership, discipline, and other extracurricular activities.

In his address, the Principal of Ibrahim Ahmed Academy expressed profound gratitude to Almighty Allah for the successful hosting of the event and for the continued progress of the institution. He also appreciated the unwavering support of the school's proprietor, members of staff, parents, and guardians for their commitment to the growth of the academy.

The principal reflected on the school's humble beginnings, revealing that Ibrahim Ahmed Academy started with fewer than 250 students but has grown steadily over the years to more than 1,000 students, describing the achievement as a clear testament to the confidence parents have in the quality of education provided by the institution.

He further highlighted the school's academic progress, noting that less than 30 students graduated last year, all of whom recorded impressive and colourful examination results. According to him, the academy has continued to expand both in enrolment and academic performance, as more than 60 students are graduating this year, demonstrating the school's sustained commitment to educational excellence.

He urged the graduating students to remain disciplined, focused, and determined as they move to higher stages of their education, reminding them to uphold the values of integrity, hard work, and respect instilled by the school.

Also speaking at the event, the Proprietor of Ibrahim Ahmed Academy, Engr. Ibrahim Ahmad Turaki (Sarkin Doka Akko), expressed heartfelt appreciation to Almighty Allah for granting him the opportunity to witness another successful graduation ceremony.

He thanked Allah for the growth and achievements recorded by the school over the years, describing the occasion as a dream fulfilled through dedication, perseverance, and collective effort.

Engr. Turaki also extended his sincere appreciation to the teaching and non-teaching staff for their tireless commitment to nurturing the students academically and morally. He equally commended parents and guardians for their trust, cooperation, and sacrifices, acknowledging that their continuous support has been instrumental in the school's success.

He reaffirmed the academy's commitment to providing quality education, improving learning facilities, and producing graduates who will excel academically while becoming responsible and productive members of society.
