RETSO DG Yusi Buba: Oluremi Tinubu Achieving What Past First Ladies Could Not

The Director General of the Remi Tinubu Support Organization (RETSO), Hon. Yusi Buba, has commended Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, describing her as a transformational leader whose impact on human capital development has surpassed that of many who previously held the office.

Buba made the remarks during a press briefing, where he highlighted the achievements of the First Lady through her flagship programme, the Renewed Hope Initiative. According to him, the initiative has become a lifeline for thousands of Nigerians, particularly women, youths, and vulnerable members of society.

He noted that Senator Tinubu has shown exceptional dedication to improving the lives of citizens through a range of programmes focused on skills acquisition, economic empowerment, educational support, and social welfare interventions.

Buba further explained that unlike in previous administrations where such initiatives were often inconsistent, the First Lady has established a structured and sustainable framework that is already delivering measurable results across the country.

“Senator Oluremi Tinubu has done what many past First Ladies could not offer,” Buba stated. “Her leadership style is driven by purpose, compassion, and a genuine commitment to empowering people. She is a woman of strong character—God-fearing, disciplined, and deeply devoted to national development.”

He added that the First Lady’s programmes have rekindled hope in many communities that had long felt neglected, thereby strengthening public confidence in the Renewed Hope Agenda of the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Buba also noted that Senator Tinubu’s humility, accessibility, and passion for service continue to inspire many women to actively participate in politics and public service.

He concluded by calling on Nigerians to support the First Lady’s programmes, stressing that greater public support would enable the initiatives to reach more beneficiaries and positively impact more lives in the coming months.
