Deadly Raid on Military Base in Kwara State Leaves Three Soldiers Killed

Suspected terrorists have attacked a military base in Kaiama Local Government Area of Kwara State, killing three soldiers in a coordinated assault.
The incident reportedly occurred in the early hours of Monday at a military outpost in Kemanji community, where heavily armed attackers stormed the facility and engaged troops in a gun battle.
Security sources revealed that although the soldiers resisted the હુમ and eventually repelled the attackers, three personnel lost their lives in the exchange, while others sustained varying degrees of injuries.
The assailants are believed to have fled the scene with some military equipment, including motorcycles, raising concerns about the scale and planning of the attack.
Kemanji and surrounding areas in Kaiama have recently witnessed rising security threats, with fears growing over the spread of terrorist activities into parts of North-Central Nigeria.
As of the time of this report, the Nigerian Army has yet to issue an official statement on the incident.
