GOMBE ADC YOUTH URGE NAFIU BALA TO DROP COURT CASE,RALLY BEHIND DAVID MARK TO CHALLENGE APC.
The ADC Youth Network in Gombe State has issued a strongly worded statement expressing deep disappointment in Nafiu Bala Gombe, accusing him of undermining the party’s unity and democratic values amid the ongoing leadership crisis.
In the statement, the group called on Bala to immediately withdraw his court case and align with the leadership of David Mark as the National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC). They stressed that this step is necessary to restore stability within the party and position it as a credible opposition capable of “rescuing Nigeria” from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The youth group described Bala’s actions as a deliberate attempt to destabilize the party, alleging that his refusal to accept internal resolutions and ongoing legal battle are driven by personal ambition rather than party interest. They further claimed that his conduct has created confusion and weakened the ADC at a critical time ahead of the 2027 elections.
Expressing particular frustration, the Gombe youth emphasized that their disappointment is heightened by the fact that Bala is from their state, noting that his actions do not reflect the values or aspirations of the people of Gombe. They warned that they would no longer support or recognize him if he fails to reverse course.
The statement concluded with a call for unity among party members and reaffirmed the group’s commitment to defending internal democracy and strengthening the ADC as a viable alternative in Nigeria’s political landscape.
