Tinubu Retains Shettima as Running Mate for 2027 Presidential Bid

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has retained Vice President Kashim Shettima as his running mate for the 2027 presidential election, bringing to an end months of speculation over the composition of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket.

The ruling party confirmed the decision on Friday as preparations intensify ahead of the submission of candidates’ particulars to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
