Inuwa Engages APC Elders in Gombe, Pushes for Stronger Party Unity

Gombe State Governor and leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON, has held a high-level consultative meeting with party elders as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen unity and cohesion within the party.

The meeting, which took place at the Government House, Gombe, brought together key APC stakeholders from across the state. It was aimed at deepening internal harmony and consolidating support as the party prepares for the 2027 general elections.

Discussions at the engagement were described as frank and constructive, with party elders and leaders reaffirming their commitment to consensus-building, discipline, and loyalty to the party leadership under Governor Inuwa Yahaya.

The elders also expressed renewed support for the governor’s efforts to maintain stability within the party and ensure coordinated political direction ahead of future electoral contests.

According to a statement issued by the Director-General, Press Affairs, Government House, Gombe, Ismaila Uba Misilli, the consultation is part of a broader strategy to keep the APC in the state united and politically formidable.

The meeting ended with a renewed pledge by stakeholders to continue working together in the interest of party cohesion and development in Gombe State.
