Abba Yusuf Warns Cabinet Members Against Disloyalty, Leaks After Resignation of Five Commissioners

Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has cautioned members of the State Executive Council against acts of disloyalty, internal rivalry and the leaking of confidential government information.

The governor issued the warning during a recent Executive Council meeting in Kano, following the resignation of five commissioners from his administration.

According to the governor, his administration will no longer tolerate actions capable of undermining government programmes or creating distrust within the cabinet.

He stressed that loyalty, discipline and unity are essential for the effective implementation of government policies aimed at improving the welfare of the people of Kano State.

Governor Yusuf warned that any official found engaging in acts that sabotage the government or leak sensitive information would face appropriate sanctions.

The development comes after five commissioners stepped down from the State Executive Council. The governor confirmed that their resignations had been accepted and wished them success in their future endeavours.

He urged the remaining members of the cabinet to remain committed to the administration’s vision and focus on delivering good governance to the people.

Governor Yusuf also reiterated that his government remains determined to implement policies that will promote development, transparency and accountability across the state.

The governor called on public officials to work together in the interest of the state, noting that unity within government is crucial for achieving sustainable progress.
