Arewa Progressive Media Honors Former Director of the Bureau of Statistics in Gombe, Gombe State

Arewa Progressive Media has honored a distinguished son of Borno State, Alhaji Dr. Mohammed Musa Tumala, a former Director of the Bureau of Statistics, during a grand ceremony held in Gombe State.
The recognition took place during Dr. Tumala's private visit to the state, with the event attended by the organization's executives, members, and supporters, who gathered to celebrate his outstanding contributions to society.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Secretary of the organization, Comrade Haruna Abdullahi, explained that the purpose of the event was to recognize individuals who have dedicated their lives to serving humanity. He stated that the organization spent considerable time identifying and selecting deserving personalities for the award, noting that such recognition serves as an encouragement for them to continue their humanitarian services and contributions to national development.
He further highlighted Dr. Mohammed Musa Tumala's numerous contributions to society, particularly his support for the less privileged, orphans, women, and youths, as well as his efforts to empower young people with opportunities for self-reliance and sustainable livelihoods.
In his remarks, the President of Arewa Progressive Media, Comrade Sani Bello Yusuf, described Dr. Tumala as a father figure, mentor, and role model for young people, politicians, and entrepreneurs alike. He said Dr. Tumala is a patriotic Nigerian who has devoted his time, resources, and experience to improving the lives of others, especially women and youths, thereby promoting a better standard of living.
In his response, Alhaji Dr. Mohammed Musa Tumala expressed gratitude to Almighty God and thanked Arewa Progressive Media for the prestigious recognition. He prayed for God's blessings upon the leadership of the organization and encouraged them to remain steadfast in upholding truth, integrity, and accountability.
He concluded by calling on politicians, business leaders, and other well-meaning Nigerians to become more actively involved in community development without bias or selfish interests, emphasizing that collective efforts are essential to building a stronger nation and improving the welfare of the people.
