FG Orders Abuja Civil Servants to Work from Home Ahead of APC Convention
The Federal Government has directed civil servants working within the Federal Secretariat in Abuja to observe a work-from-home arrangement on Friday, March 27, 2026.
The directive comes in anticipation of the national convention of the All Progressives Congress (APC), which is expected to attract significant movement and activities within the nation’s capital.
According to the announcement, the temporary measure is aimed at reducing congestion and ensuring smooth coordination of events surrounding the convention. Civil servants affected by the directive are expected to carry out their official duties remotely for the day.
Normal work operations are expected to resume after the event.
