ATTAJIRI FOUNDATION DONATES 10 MOTORCYCLES TO VIGILANTES TO STRENGTHEN COMMUNITY SECURITY

In our continuous commitment to supporting peace, safety, and community development, the Attajiri Development Foundation has donated 10 motorcycles to the Vigilante and Hunters groups in Billiri Local Government Area to strengthen grassroots security operations.

These motorcycles were formally handed over to the Billiri Local Government Council, which in turn distributed them to various Vigilante and Hunters groups across communities within the LGA. The initiative is aimed at enhancing their mobility, improving rapid response, and enabling them to effectively support conventional security agencies in safeguarding lives and property.

This intervention also complements the recent support provided by the Executive Governor of Gombe State, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, who donated vehicles to the Vigilante groups across the state to boost community security operations. Our contribution is therefore a further demonstration of collective responsibility in strengthening security at the grassroots level.

Community-based security groups play a critical role in maintaining peace, particularly in rural communities where timely response and local intelligence are essential. By supporting these groups with necessary tools, we are reinforcing a collective effort to ensure that our communities remain safe and secure for all.

I also call on other stakeholders, community leaders, and well-meaning individuals to key into this noble initiative by supporting community-based security efforts in any way possible. Security is a shared responsibility, and together we can build safer and more peaceful communities.

Through the Attajiri Development Foundation, I remain committed to supporting the people through impactful initiatives that promote security, development, and community wellbeing. This donation is part of a broader effort to continually invest in initiatives that uplift and protect our communities.
