Iran Denies Involvement in Drone Attack on Saudi Arabia

The government of Iran has denied any involvement in the recent drone attack targeting locations in Saudi Arabia, dismissing allegations linking it to the incident.

In a statement released by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the Iranian authorities described the accusations as unfounded and urged Saudi officials to conduct a thorough investigation to determine the true source of the attack.

According to Saudi security officials, the country’s air defence systems intercepted several drones and ballistic missiles that were reportedly heading toward strategic areas within the kingdom.

However, Iranian officials insisted that Tehran had no role in the incident and had not authorized any military action against Saudi Arabia. They further warned that false accusations could heighten tensions in an already fragile Middle East region.

Security analysts say the incident could further strain relations between the two regional powers if the source of the attack is not clearly identified.
